Hello! my name is Jenna Gia,
Today I want to make a change. Always changing as a society, I look to support the greater cause. I am wanting to delve more into environmental impacts on the world. How do I play a part in changing my community as just one person. I used to believe that creating awareness was enough for there to be a change. I have realized this is not enough. Moving forward I am focusing on finding more opportunities to be in nature and do the work it takes to make an impact.
Every perspective is unique, but although everyones books looks different, doesn’t mean a plethora of people cannot be on the same page. Which makes me wonder how do I immerse myself to create awareness and change, while also keeping up to date on new ideas, and finding out the right thing to do. I write, make music, video, and dream big to make people feel accepted from all walks of life. “What affects one directly, affects all indirectly” -MLK.
Art is supposed to challenge perspectives, media is a way to see how engaged people become with these certain ideas. I am interested in making choices that lead to a ripple effect of positive longstanding values and foundations. I cant help but see that there is much more that can be done, reflecting on how I can do it, work towards it one day at a time, and hope it helps inspire others to follow their dreams as well.
I am told my personality is somewhat bubbly, and it is true, I love to make others laugh and can talk your ear off if you give me a good chance. I am comfortable presenting and public speaking, I took theatre as a kid and believe that I do best in that environment, whether it be teaching or performance. I sing and produce my own music. I see this as a passion of mine, a therapy, that helps me cathartically and creatively. Keeping my brain stimulated with the projects I put out, always trying to do better than before and giving myself the space and love to put it all together. Additionally I enjoy scriptwriting and photography. Looking to share stories in both mediums.
With a Bachelors in Arts and a major in Multimedia. It is my intention to be part of a team of likeminded individuals, who value work ethic, respect, and integrity. I am open to creative and environmental projects I can immerse myself in to learn new skills, find connections, and further opportunities for me and others.
